INTRODUCTION TO CHEMISTRY
In this unit we started to learn about chemistry. We learned about protons, neutrons, and electrons, and how protons and neutrons are located in the nucleus, and that the electrons travel through electron clouds. We also studied the periodic table of elements, and even did a separate project about one element (mine was argon) that is located on another page. We learned about how the number of protons in an atom is the same as the number of electrons in an atom, and that the atomic mass of an atom is the amount of protons and neutrons in an atom, and is measured in a.m.u.'s.
